The Music Dinner Party Club is focused on creating unique musical dining experiences.The Music Dinner party Club seeks to put into question the typical audience experience. The Music Dinner Party Club is interested in using food as a catalyst for sonic perception and inversely sound as a catalyst for enhanced taste.
What happens to our perception of sound when we experience other senses? What can we gain from loosening how much attention is demanded of the listener? Why are concerts and meals the way they are?
Future events include sound-taste workshops, perfect bite contests, guest speakers, and formally composed dinners featuring student chefs, composers, and artists in other disciplines.
Mostly this club is a place for any sonic and gustatory experimentation, synthesis of mediums where anything goes.
