Bard Arts Community
Bard Arts Community is an event creating club with the intention of bringing Bard students together for a more inclusive and positive social environment on campus.There are an incredible amount of really talented artists on campus and we want to create an environment for people to feel comfortable sharing their art. A place anyone can promote themselves (if they want).
We will have music shows, art galleries, fashion shows, all created and organized by students.
We will also work with other preexisting clubs who may already be doing a variation of what we're trying to do to help with these events. As well as creating whole new events and ideas with other clubs as well.
Again, the purpose of this club is to bring Bardian's together. We are a community, even if we don't realize it all the time. It's important we come together and learn from each other, rather than being too scared to talk to each other in the first place. This club is about people getting out of their comfort zones, to talk to people with different perspectives and to heal through human connection and art.
We hope and pray this club will be approved, because we know in our hearts, Bard can benefit from this.
