Driving Safely
Driving Safely (in memory of Linh Hong Nguyen, a Bard student who was killed by a reckless driver on her graduation evening in May 2024) aims to help socioeconomically underprivileged Bard students navigate the process of acquiring a driver's license. Through a series of mental health (tools for dealing with driving anxiety) and technical workshops (simple car mechanics, what it takes to buy a car, etc...), as well as group driving lessons with licensed adult drivers (21 and older), we will be learning together how to become drivers who take good care of people's lives and the public roads we use.Club Head Contact Information
