Bard Black Arts Collective
The Bard Black Arts Collective is a network of Black people at Bard interested in art across all disciplines (writing, music, visual art, dance, performance art, theatre) to connect, share resources, and create with one another. We believe that a community dedicated to Black art at Bard is an excellent way to strengthen solidarity and provide support. Our collective will host workshops in these disciplines, open mic concerts, exhibitions, network events, resources for research and funding for Black senior projects in the arts, and create community projects together like plays, music, zines, and more!
Overall, we are an open space for Black community members at Bard to explore the expansiveness of Black art with one another.
