The Community Project
The Community Project is a social club with the goal of rebuilding and supporting the POSSE Atlanta and Puerto Rico cohorts on campus. Both groups have derived from different demographics and have chosen to make their marks at Bard. Though the POSSE foundation provides spaces for students to connect and professionally develop their resumes, and have other opportunities, we hope to provide more spaces for these students to engage in programs that highlight their own identities and celebrate them culturally and socially. This club is not only exclusive to POSSE but is being created with the intention of connecting students within POSSE and OEI. More importantly, it creates spaces for community members outside of these scholarships to also find safe spaces where they can connect and build.
