ETW: Batman - The Dark Knight (Movie)
Friday, December 12, 2008
You know, I've had this movie for over a week now, and just haven't gotten around to watching it.  I mean, I hear it's supposed to be pretty good, but there's one thing holding me back.  Sure the presentaion will be phenominal on Weis' big screen with the subwoofer thumping, and Christopher Nolan will no doubt sprinkle some of that directorial magic on this one as well, but there's one thing I just can't get past...

There is only one Joker, and his name is Jack Nicholson.

"You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

Regardless, we're showing this one both Friday and Saturday, assuming most of the shows will be packed, so show up early to get the good seats.

Shows Friday and Saturday at 7pm and 9:40pm.

Time: 7:00 pm - 11:55 pm
Location: Campus Center, Weis Cinema

Many of the clubs here at Bard will be setup up to answer your questions, show you what they're working on, and help you get involved.  If you've been wondering about all the fun groups that exist at Bard, this will be the place to see them on display.

If you are a member of a club that would like to participate in Club Fair, simply show up at the MPR anytime after 11am and we'll get you a table.  This is an excellent opportunity to get new members, advertise your events, and generally make yourself known.

Time Change - Movie: Ghost Town
Friday, February 13, 2009

Please note time change: Screenings at 8pm and 9:45

Ghost Town: Is it too trite to describe this movie as a cross between The Sixth Sense and The Office?  Probably, but that’s essentially what we’re working with.  Ricky Gervais (The Office UK and Night at the Museum) meets the ghost of Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets and Fast Food Nation) and has to help him set things right in a completely awkward and loveable way.
